A new month

Now we are in February and the days are perceptibly becoming longer. Most of us with sight problems welcome the nearness of Spring with its increased light levels. Today I have added to this blog a letter I have written to the Law Society about Blue Badges. For those of you outside the UK, I explain that Blue Badges are licences (in fact cards) which disabled people put in their windscreens. A Blue Badge enables the holder to park a vehicle in privileged places. Blind people are also entitled to Blue Badges on the understanding that the blind person owns or has access to a car which is driven for his or her benefit.
